Founded in 2018, Atelier LI is an architectural office led by principals Bai LI & Xuan LI, the two founding partners completed their studies in Paris. Their design approach seamlessly integrates contemporary lifestyles with natural oriental aesthetics across architecture, interior, and landscape projects. Through a modern architectural language, they strive to craft spaces that promote comfortable, nature-inspired living while emphasizing the significance of public spaces in today’s life and society. The works by Atelier LI have been featured in various international and domestic design publications, and have garnered multiple international accolades.

Bai LI

Founding Partner and Lead Architect，Architecte D.E.

Bai LI graduated from the Department of Landscape Architecture at Tongji University and obtained a Master in Architecture at École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville. Prior to establishing Atelier LI, he began his career at AARES in Paris. He was selected for CASABELLA No. 832 “Architects Under 30” issue.

Xuan LI

Founding Partner and Lead Architect

Xuan LI graduated from l’Université Paris VIII Vincennes-Saint-Denis. Since founding Atelier LI, she has been responsible for directing design concepts and establishing thematic and aesthetic positions. Through visible material forms and spaces, she aims to convey poetry and abstract ideas. Her architectural practice and research reflect her observations and thoughts on social issues, while she also seeks to express humanism and the creator's perspective through her work.
